Dixons wanted to have one platform for selling products in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. At the same time, they wanted a platform that was customised to the group’s various chains of stores. As a result, brand names such as Elkjøp, Elgiganten and Gigantti each have their own unique identity, while sharing functionality such as shopping solution, Content Management System (EPiServer CMS) and search function.
